Ingredients
• 16 oz elbow macaroni
• 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 3 cups milk
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
3️⃣ In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and whisk in the flour. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
4️⃣ Gradually add the milk and heavy cream, stirring until thickened.
5️⃣ Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine.
6️⃣ Reduce heat to low, then add 2 cups of cheddar cheese, mozzarella, Colby Jack, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
7️⃣ Add the cooked macaroni and stir to coat.
8️⃣ Pour the macaroni and cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
9️⃣ Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
