Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

Description

A savory meatloaf stuffed with seasoned beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and melted provolone cheese, baked to perfection and perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 1 egg
• 1 small onion, diced
• 1 green bell pepper, diced
• 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
• 2 tbsp ketchup
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ tsp pepper


Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Sauté onion and bell pepper until soft, then cool.
3️⃣ Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add cooled veggies and ½ cup provolone cheese.
4️⃣ Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
5️⃣ Bake for 40-45 minutes. Top with remaining provolone cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
6️⃣ Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
