Funnel Cake Bites: A Carnival Classic at Home

Description

Crispy, bite-sized pieces of funnel cake, dusted with powdered sugar and perfect for dipping or snacking anytime.


Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 1/4 cups milk
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
• Vegetable oil (for frying)


Instructions

1️⃣ Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
2️⃣ In a separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, and sugar. Combine wet and dry mixtures until smooth.
3️⃣ Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
4️⃣ Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil. Fry until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
5️⃣ Drain on paper towels, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
