Ingredients
• 8 slices of white bread, crusts removed
• 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (1 tablespoon cinnamon mixed with 1 tablespoon sugar)
• 2 large eggs
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
• Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
1️⃣ In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
2️⃣ Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese mixture over each slice and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll up tightly.
3️⃣ In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and ground cinnamon.
4️⃣ Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
5️⃣ Roll the cooked roll-ups in the cinnamon sugar mixture and serve warm with maple syrup.
