Description
A juicy beef patty topped with crispy bacon, melted cheddar and Swiss cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, and caramelized onions, all served on a buttery toasted brioche bun.
Ingredients
• 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 8 slices bacon
• 4 slices cheddar cheese
• 4 slices Swiss cheese
• 1 large tomato (sliced)
• 4 leaves fresh lettuce
• 1/2 cup caramelized onions (optional)
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tbsp BBQ sauce (or ketchup)
• 4 brioche buns
• Butter for toasting buns
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the skillet or grill. Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder, then shape into patties.
2️⃣ Cook bacon until crispy and drain.
3️⃣ Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, adding cheese during the last minute.
4️⃣ Toast buns with butter until golden brown.
5️⃣ Spread mayo-BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, then layer lettuce, patty, tomato, bacon, and onions.
6️⃣ Top with the other bun and serve immediately.
