Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup white sugar

- 5–6 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter, diced
- 1 egg white, for brushing (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, white sugar, melted butter, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Toss apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and flour.
- Add apples to the crust and dot with butter.
- Add top crust, seal edges, and slit the top. Brush with egg white if desired.
